The Lakeridge High School Key Club held their book sale. They had gathered hundreds of books to sell to benefit Kenya Keys. They advertised in the bulletin and spent hours going door to door collecting people’s books. On the Saturday of the book sale they were very pleased when they raised $490! And we just received the check from Powell's Books for the books that were unsold, $130. Grand Total: $620.It felt especially good to these hard working girls because they knew this amount would be matched by the main library Matching Sponsor, Lynn Woodbury of Salt Lake City. This money will go a long way towards the completion of our Taru Secondary School Libarary and Career Guidance Center.Congratulations Lakeridge Key Club!!
