Education is the most valuable tool we can use against poverty

  • Become a Sponsor

There are many qualified students in need of a sponsor. High school sponsorship is $450 per year and college is $900, covering the basic fees for school. Additional donations help with necessities, program costs, or staffing to support student success.

Students send updates and photos each year, and always share the sweetest gratitude. Exchanging letters and photos with your student is facilitated by our staff.

  • Renew a Sponsorship

You already know what it is like to connect with a Kenya Keys student — to hear their dreams, share in their hopes, encourage them through the difficulties they encounter.

Would you like to sponsor an additional student? Please email us at info@kenyakeys.org.

Thank you for your ongoing support - you are changing lives, changing generations.

Advancing Hope

High school in Kenya is not free. Fewer than 16% of families can afford school costs, forcing most students to drop out after 8th grade. Sponsorship allows top students to stay in school and work toward breaking cycles of poverty.

Kenya Keys targets first-generation students who are bright and motivated, matching them with sponsors who help cover expenses.

Shifting Outcomes

Since its inception, Kenya Keys has provided 911 sponsorships for high school and college.

  • 300 college graduates

  • 530 high school grads

  • 417 students currently enrolled

Rehema shares the excitement of receiving a letter from her sponsor.

The young people we serve have one thing in common - the desire to learn. This desire is so strong, that they will choose to learn over food, over comfort, over any kind of relief of suffering that we are able to observe. They soak up learning like the rain parched land soaks up any hint of water.
