A Very Special Sewing School

In a dark room with no windows, beautiful creations come forth. It is here that a wonderful woman, Patience, teaches a sewing class. She has 12 students, all girls learning to sew with only three machines and no electricity. The machines are powered by pedals which the girls pump up and down. This is done with patience in more ways that one!Beautiful dresses in colorful fabrics are made and sold by these wonderful women.Recently a visitor, Marilyn Lewis, took a photo of all the girls standing outside the school. Upon returning to the US she had a poster made, with Brent Hayes preparing for his trip to Kenya, he was the perfect deliverer of this gift back to the lovely women who works so hard. The joy is evident on their beautiful faces. Patience, their teacher, is the proud one, with the brighest, broadest smile.Thank you Marilyn for your thoughtful gift!
